Dear Sir,

You will recollect that proceedings were served on you in December last for the construction, by the Chancery Division of the High Court, of the Will of Mrs. Ada Alice Stevens deceased. These proceedings were duly heard in your absence by Mr. Justice Vaisey and he declared that upon the true construction of the Will of Mrs. Ada Alice Stevens (1) that the following chattels pass to yourself Irving Hawtrie Thomas Bye that is to say (a) the gold watch and chain of the Testatrix and (b) the cigarette case formerly the property of the first husband of the Testatrix if it still exists (2) that the rest of the jewellry of the Testatrix passes to your Sister Mary Eileen Bye and (3) that all the rest of the Estate of the Testatrix both real and personal passes to Christopher Rogers and Patricia Rogers as Tenants in common in equal shares.
